The changes produced in China have given chance, as the French historian Serge Guilbaut says, to the modernization on great scale of the great large cities like Beijing, Shangai and Guangzhou, and they are comparable to which underwent Paris during the time of Haussman. The bicycles coexist with the automobiles on the routes of communication constructed recently.

Historians like T.J.Clark have written much on the scenes of Paris painted by Vang Gogh and Manet in which they represent confusion, similar to which happens in the great Chinese cities, whose changes are reflected in the contemporary artistic world of this same country.

Their artistic approach points towards the newness and the spacing of orthodoxies of National Academies of Art, and work portraying the society and the changes of the Chinese social landscape.

With this exhibition we try to approach the Spanish public to the different Chinese artistic vanguards through prestigious Chinese contemporary artists of international reputation.
